High-scoring game tonight in Miami?
Points shouldn’t be hard to come by tonight when the Heat host the Sixers at 6:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under is sitting at 212 points while the Heat are 15-point favorites. Miami enters play with a 36-26 record and is 34-27 against the spread this season, while Philadelphia is just 8-54 on the year and 27-34 at the betting window.
Bettors are currently favoring the Sixers to cover as an underdog tonight
The over has been a great play for bettors in recent Sixers games. The combined score has gone over the total in all four of their last four games and is also 6-1 in their last seven games playing on one day of rest. In their last five road games, the over is also 4-1 for Philadelphia.
When playing a team with a winning percentage below .400, the over has cashed in four of Miami’s last five games. Despite losing Chris Bosh (blood clots), the Heat continue to play well with their new up-tempo style on offense. No player has thrived more than Goran Dragic, who is averaging 18.2 points, 7.4 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five games.
