Philadelphia is coming off a 114-97 win at Utah to start a West Coast road trip on Thursday. The 76ers have won and covered the spread in three of their last four games. Philadelphia is 23-13 on the season, 7-10 on the road, 17-19 against the spread and 21-15 with the over.

Joel Embiid is listed as questionable to play tonight with a knee injury. He is averaging 26.5 points and 13.3 rebounds per game this season. The Blazers suffered a 115-105 loss to the Warriors last night at home. They have lost three of their last five games and have failed to cover in four of their last five games. Portland is now 20-16 overall, 13-6 at home, 17-19 against the spread and 19-17 with the under.

NBA Betting Trends
Philadelphia
The 76ers are 6-14 against the spread in their last 20 road games and 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 games against Southwest Division opponents.
Portland
The Blazers are 28-13 against the spread in their last 41 home games, but 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss.
Prediction:
The 76ers aren’t likely to mess around with Embiid, so if there is any hint of an injury, I would expect him to sit. Not having him on the road is going to definitely be an issue for a team that has already struggled on the road. Portland is an inconsistent team, but the Blazers still can match Philadelphia in key areas, especially on the glass. If Philly can’t rebound the ball like they usually do, it greatly hurts their chances to win.
NBA Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers -1
