Phoenix Suns Fantasy Spin
Devin Booker scored 27 points during a 120-106 loss to the Blazers on Thursday, adding one rebound, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes. He was on fire in the first quarter with 18 points, but cooled off after that. Booker hit the 5,000-point mark for his career and is the fifth youngest to do so (LeBron, Durant, Carmelo, Dwight), and he talked about it after the game. Booker said he doesn’t care about the stats anymore and he just wants to win games. The Suns have lost six games in a row, so it’ll be interesting to see how they approach the deadline. Booker will need to stay healthy to stay on the floor or else the Suns will have him go through a lengthy rehab. In the short term, he will be busy with T.J. Warren out based off his 32.3 usage rate and increased assist percentage without Warren this season.
Denver Nuggets Fantasy Spin
Nikola Jokic tied his season-high with 21 rebounds on Wednesday, adding 28 points, six assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes. Jokic made 10-of-21 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs and seemed to thrive on being constantly booed by Utah’s home crowd. The bad news is that he strayed pretty far from the bench during a first-quarter confrontation between Derrick Favors and Mason Plumlee. He wasn’t on the court but did leave the ‘immediate vicinity’ of the bench, which is grounds for a one-game suspension. The league should decide on the matter soon, and he could face a fine or no penalty at all. It would be a shame if he is suspended, since he draws a perfect matchup vs. Phoenix.
NBA Betting Trends
Phoenix
The Suns have covered the spread in eight of their last 10 road games and are a perfect 4-0 against the number in their last four games playing on no rest.

Prediction
The over has cashed in seven of the last 10 meetings between these two teams, is 5-0 in the Suns’ last five games coming off a double-digit loss at home and is 4-1 in their last five games coming off a loss of more than 10 points. On the other side, the over is 5-0 in the Nuggets’ last five games, is 4-0 in their last four home games and is 17-4 in their last 21 home games versus a team with a losing road record.
