Can Pistons cover vs. Toronto?

The Detroit Pistons have had a lot of success against the Toronto Raptors in recent years, yet find themselves a home underdog when they meet tonight at 7:30PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Raptors are favored on the road tonight, as they are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Pistons. The over/under total for the game has been set at 205 points.

The Pistons (27-25) are in a bit of a funk, losing four of their last six games, but they return home tonight to face the Raptors (34-16), who have won 13 of their last 14 games, including a 111-107 win at home over Detroit a few weeks back. The Raptors have won two of the last three meetings with Detroit, but the Pistons have covered the spread in four straight over Toronto, including the meeting back on Jan. 30.

Detroit has also been strong at home, going 16-8 straight up this season and 16-7-1 against the spread. Their 69.6 percent cover rate at home is the best of any team in the NBA right now. Since 2014, the Pistons are also 18-12-1 against the spread as a home underdog, which is the fifth-best cover rate in the league in that span.
