Pistons surging toward Miami
The Detroit Pistons look to continue a recent hot streak when they hit the road to face the Miami Heat at 7:30PM ET tonight.
In their second season under Stan Van Gundy, the Pistons head to Miami winners in four of their last five games and their last two losses have come by a combined three points. Detroit has also won its last two games on the road while going 4-0-1 against the spread in this five-game stretch.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Pistons are an underdog on the road tonight against the Heat, as Detroit is getting odds of +3.5 points in Miami. The over/under total for the game has been set at 193 points.
Miami has been pretty strong as of late as well, winning four of its last five while going 3-1-1 against the spread in those games. However, the Heat have dropped two of their last four at home and the Pistons won the lone meeting with the Heat this year, 104-81 in Detroit. The Pistons have won and covered the spread in three of their last four against Van Gundy’s former team.
