Pistons look for sixth straight win
SAN ANTONIO, TX (TheSpread) – The NBA’s longest winning streak currently belongs to the Detroit Pistons. They look to add to that tonight when they face the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30PM ET.
Detroit is 10-23 on the season, 6-10 on the road and 13-20 against the spread. San Antonio is 21-14 overall, 12-5 at home and 16-19 against the spread. The home team has won four straight in this series, but the Pistons have covered in five of their last six against the Spurs. These two have hit the over in eight of their last nine meetings as well. This will be the first game between these two this season.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Spurs are the clear favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -8.5 points against the Pistons tonight. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set.
Detroit is currently riding a five-game winning streak. The Pistons have not lost a game since releasing Josh Smith and they have covered the spread in all five games, winning by double digits in each contest. They have also hit the under in four straight. San Antonio has won two straight entering this game, but the Spurs are just 2-4 ATS in their last six. They have hit the under in three straight.
