Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Trail Blazers are 7.5-point favorites to beat the Suns. The total, meanwhile, sits at 218.5 points and as of this writing, 66% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Trail Blazers to cover the point spread.
Portland Trail Blazers Fantasy Spin
Damian Lillard (right hand contusion) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Suns. Lillard has been playing through the hand issue over the past few games, and while he tends to play through his injuries, it wouldn’t be shocking to see him take the night off against the worst team out West. Owners can expect to get another update by Thursday afternoon, but if he sits, C.J. McCollum would make for a very attractive DFS target. Stay tuned.
Phoenix Suns Fantasy Spin
T.J. Warren (ankle) will not play Thursday against the Blazers. No surprise here with Warren suffering an injury on Tuesday night. He’s typically been a slow healer from injuries, and it doesn’t help that he had right ankle issues back on November and December. He should still remain on fantasy rosters, but he did not practice on Wednesday and could miss additional time. Josh Jackson would likely be moving into the starting lineup while Kelly Oubre and Mikal Bridges should have longer leashes. All three should be owned while De’Anthony Melton could have some new life in deeper leagues.
