Raptors looking for another win
DENVER, CO (TheSpread) – Fresh off a win over the Clippers on Saturday, the Toronto Raptors look for another win out west when they face the Denver Nuggets today at 9PM ET.
The Raptors are now 23-7 on the season, 9-4 on the road and 18-12 against the spread. Denver comes into this game 13-17 overall, 9-6 at home and 11-17-2 against the spread. These two met back on Dec. 8, with Toronto getting a 112-107 OT win at home, but the Nuggets covered the 10-point spread. Toronto has won three of the last four in this series, but the Nuggets have covered in three of the last four.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Raptors are a slim favorite on the road, as they are getting odds of -1 point against the Nuggets. The over/under total for the game has been set at 211.5 points.
The Raptors picked up an impressive win at Los Angeles on Saturday and they have now won seven of their last eight, covering the spread in six of their last nine games. They have also hit the over in four straight. Denver is coming off a win over Minnesota on Friday, but they are just 3-5 in their last eight straight up and 1-6-1 ATS in those eight games. They have hit the under in their last five and eight of their last nine.
