Toronto Raptors DFS Notes
Nick Nurse told Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports on Friday that Fred VanVleet has “looked really good this week… He’s put in some good tough days this week and looks great. He’s ready.” FVV has been dealing with this knee issue since the All-Star break, but this week of no games has likely been a huge factor in his recovery. There’s no reason to think that he won’t be in the starting lineup for Game 1 on Saturday.
Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Matisse Thybulle acknowledged on Sunday that he’s not fully vaccinated, which is why he was ineligible for Thursday’s game in Toronto. This is important because Philly will be matched up with Toronto in the First Round of the playoffs, so Thybulle won’t be available for any of their road games in that series. It also didn’t sound like Thybulle intended on getting fully vaccinated, saying that his teammates, the coaching staff and front office have all expressed their frustration with his decision and that he’s accepted that this is something that could hurt his career.
