Houston Rockets DFS Spin
Jalen Green led Houston with 32 points (12-for-27 FGs), six rebounds, four assists, one assist and four 3-pointers in a 124-103 win over the Nuggets on Tuesday. Houston’s offense was clicking in this game as the youthful Rockets secured an upset win over the Nuggets. Green led the way with his second straight 32-point night, and he has now scored at least 30 in five of his last eight games. He’s clicking like he did at the end of last season, and he can help managers that are still playing win their leagues, as well as be a nice value for DFS players. Kevin Porter Jr. and Alperen Sengun each added 20 points as Houston had a total of seven players score in double figures. We’ll see if they’re able to build off of this and gain some momentum heading into the summer.
Charlotte Hornets DFS Spin
Bryce McGowens played 35 minutes in Tuesday’s 120-100 loss to Toronto, accumulating 20 points (7-of-12 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, and two 3-pointers. McGowens had a career night as far as the point total is concerned, with this being the rookie’s first game with 20 points or more. He’s scored 11 or more in three of Charlotte’s last four games and could be a starter for the remainder of the season. With Charlotte being severely shorthanded, especially on the perimeter, McGowens is worth a look in deep leagues that are still active. Svi Mykhailiuk (17/5/7/1 with three 3-pointers) and Theo Maledon (13/6/11/2 with one 3-pointer) will offer similar value at the end of the week when the Hornets finish their season with games against the Rockets (Friday) and Cavaliers (Sunday). One area where McGowens and Maledon will need to be better is turnovers, as they combined for 10 (six for the latter) on Tuesday.
