Public Betting Trends

According to the latest oddsmakers, the Blazers are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Kings. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 230 points. The public betting currently has 83 percent of the wagers going on the Blazers as the home favorite. This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Kings end win streak

Sacramento had its brief 3-game win streak come to an end on Thursday home in a 125-108 loss to the short-handed 76ers. The Kings are 27-35 on the season, 13-19 on the road, 32-29-1 against the spread and 32-30 with the over.

The Kings are putting up 108.7 points per game on offense this season while shooting 45.9 percent from the field. Defensively, Sacramento is giving up 110.8 points per game while opponents shoot 46.7 percent against them. De’Aaron Fox is leading Sacramento with 20.4 points and 6.7 assists per game. Buddy Hield is adding 19.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest.

Blazers get Lillard back

Portland got Damian Lillard back from injury this week, but it has only led to a split with the Wizards and Suns over two games. The Blazers are now 28-36 on the season, 17-13 at home, 26-36-2 against the spread and 36-28 with the over.

The Blazers are averaging 113.6 points per game on offense this season while shooting 46 percent from the field. Defensively, Portland is giving up 115.3 points per game while opponents shoot 45.2 percent from the floor. Lillard has been averaging 29.3 points, 7.9 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. CJ McCollum is adding 22.6 points per contest for Portland.

NBA Betting Trends

Sacramento

The Kings have covered the spread in six of their last eight games overall and four of their last five on the road.

Portland

The Blazers are just 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games overall, but 4-2 ATS in their last six games in March.

Prediction:

The home team has won and covered in the last two meetings between these two. The Blazers also have a road win at Sacramento back in October. I like Portland at home tonight despite playing in Phoenix last night. With Lillard back and getting back into the flow of the game, he is someone that can take things over single-handedly. The Kings don’t have that dominant player and have struggled to find consistent offense at times. They will need points to contend with the Blazers tonight. Portland can put up big numbers behind Lillard and McCollum, especially at home.

NBA Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers -3
