NBA Betting Trends
San Antonio
The Spurs have covered the spread in four straight road games and in six of their last seven games as an underdog.
Los Angeles
The Lakers are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games as a favorite and 1-4 ATS in their last five games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
Prediction:
The Lakers have won and covered the spread in both meetings with the Spurs this season, both of which came in San Antonio. With Los Angeles at full strength, I expect them to be able to handle their business at home. They had an emotional loss to the Blazers in their last home game against the Blazers. I think they will bounce back as they turn their focus onto winning an NBA title for the city. San Antonio is streaky, but I don’t think the Spurs will be able to hang with a motivated Los Angeles team tonight.
NBA Prediction: Los Angeles Lakers -12
