Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Will Pacers cover small spread vs. Suns?

grizzlies vs. pacers pick 2/20/25 grizzlies vs. pacers pick 2/20/25

Will the Pacers cover as small home favorites versus the Suns? Will Buffalo cash in the final non-playoff bowl matchup of the college football season? Read on for our Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay prediction.

Friday Cross-Sport Parlay Recap

My Friday Cross-Sport Parlay consisted of laying the 8.5 with Minnesota in its bowl game versus Virginia Tech, the Senators knocking off the Blues, the over 162.5 in the Iowa-Wisconsin college hoops matchup and the Thunder covering as 5-point favorites versus the Knicks.

The Golden Gophers somewhat cruised to a 14-point victory over the Hokies and the Thunder won by 10 over the Knicks. The over also cashed in the Iowa-Wisconsin game, but the dumbass Senators were shutout by the Blues in St. Louis to ruin the parlay.

NHL Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Wild-Hurricanes over 5.5 (-124), 7:10 p.m. ET

This number is too low for this matchup. The Wild have combined for nine goals in their last two games and their goal prevention has been shaky of late. In Minnesota’s last six contests, the Wild allowed at least three goals in all but one of those games (a 3-2 overtime win over the Stars).

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes’ recent 3-1 win over the Panthers was the first time the over didn’t cash in a Carolina game since December 22. The over had hit in four consecutive games for the Hurricanes, who have scored a combined 11 goals in their last three games. The over is also 6-4 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.

NFL Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Bengals-Steelers under 24.5 First Half (-120), 8:00 p.m. ET

The total (24.5) for the first half of this game is too high. I realize that Joe Burrow and Co. can score at will, but I don’t trust Pittsburgh’s offense to contribute enough to cash the over. Russell Wilson and Co. haven’t looked good in weeks. The Steelers have lost three straight games entering play today and were held to 13 (at Philadelphia), 17 (at Baltimore) and 10 (vs. Kansas City) points in those three games. Granted, the Steelers were playing some of the better defenses in the league, which won’t be the case tonight when they host the Bengals. Still, I don’t see how these two teams get into a shootout tonight in Pittsburgh, at least initially.

CFB Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Buffalo Bulls -3.5 (-114), 11:00 a.m. ET

The Liberty quarterback situation is a mess entering today’s Bahamas Bowl matchup with Buffalo. Starter Kaidon Salter elected to enter the transfer portal on December 2 and since has chosen to go to Colorado. The sophomore Ryan Burger will be starting his first game, but he got limited practice time this month due to being in concussion protocol. He transferred from Appalachian State before the season, but only saw spot duty in his college career.

Meanwhile, Buffalo enters today’s game nearly at full strength. That includes having two of the better linebackers in college football in Shaun Dolac and Red Murdock. Both are expected to play, which is huge considering how well Liberty’s offensive system produces chunk yards in the running game. I think this number is too short given the opt-outs for Liberty.

NBA Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Indiana Pacers -1.5 (-110), 7:10 p.m. ET

The Pacers have won two out of their last three games straight up and against the spread. One of those victories came in Boston, where the Pacers upset the Celtics 123-114 outright as a 10.5-point underdog.

On the other side, the Suns have dropped three consecutive games and six out of their last seven overall. They also failed to cover the spread in seven out of their last nine games and while they’ve had some success versus Indiana (7-3 against the Pacers in their last 10 meetings), I don’t trust the way Phoenix is playing.

CBB Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Iowa State Cyclones -8.5 (-110), 2:00 p.m. ET

The Cyclones have completely dominated this matchup from an ATS standpoint. In the last 10 meetings between these to two teams, Iowa State is 9-1 at the window. In fact, the Cyclones have covered nine straight meetings with the Cyclones, which dates back to January 2, 2021. The last time the Bears covered versus ISU, it was the beginning of the COVID pandemic (January, 2020).

5-Leg Cross-Sport Parlay Odds: +2165 (Fanduel Sportsbook)
