Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Will Thunder cover vs. Rockets?

Thunder vs. Suns Thunder vs. Suns

Will the Thunder cover as a 4-point favorite against the Rockets in the NBA Cup semifinals on Saturday night? Will the Kings take down the Rangers? Can Army cash against Navy in the historic Army-Navy matchup? Read on for our Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay.

NHL Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Los Angeles Kings -106, 1:09 p.m. ET

The Kings are just playing better hockey right now. They’re coming off a 3-1 loss at New Jersey but that defeat snapped a six-game winning streak. During that streak, the Kings allowed two or fewer goals in all seven contests. Their goal prevention has been outstanding. On the other side, the Rangers are coming off a 3-2 win at Buffalo but they’ve still dropped seven out of their last 10 games overall. During that span, they’re -$521.00 from a betting standpoint. By comparison, the Kings are 7-3 over their last 10 games and are +$254.00 from a betting standpoint.

CFB Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Army Black Knights -6.5 (-105), 3:00 p.m. ET

I’ve loved Army all season and there’s no reason to doubt the Black Knights now. I backed them versus Tulane last week in the American Athletic Conference Championship in what was a bad spot for the Green Wave and I’ll do so again today in the best regular season college football matchup of the year.

Army has been flawless at times this season. I see this game coming down to each teams’ ability to sustain drives. While neither team gets penalized much, the Black Knights are third in the nation in fewest penalties. The Midshipmen are also shaky when it comes to converting third down opportunities, while the Black Knights are tremendous at converting third-and-short tries. They’re No. 1 in the nation in time of possession, leaving opponents frustrated in the process. If Army generates a turnover or two, we’ll cash.

NBA Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Oklahoma City Thunder -5.5 (-112), 8:30 p.m. ET

The Thunder are rolling right now. They’ve won eight out of their last 10 games straight up and come into play tonight with a 6-3-1 ATS mark over those 10 contests. They’ve also won four consecutive games straight up and covered in all four of those contests.

While Houston is 7-3 straight up and 6-4 against the number over its last 10 games, the Rockets have also dropped three out of their last four contests at the betting window. While they did knock off the Thunder 119-116 earlier this month in Houston, the Rockets also fell 126-107 as a 7.5-point dog in OKC in early November. That the venue is back to OKC, I’ll take the Thunder laying fewer points than they did in that first matchup in OKC.

CBB Saturday Cross-Sport Parlay: Tennessee Volunteers -1.5 (-112), 5:30 p.m. ET

According to ESPN.com’s Basketball Power Index, Tennessee has the third-highest rating (21.7) behind only Houston (22.6) and Duke (21.8). The Vols have the second-highest defensive rating (11.3) behind only Houston (12.8) and the seventh-highest offensive rating (10.4). Tennessee is also a perfect 9-0 on the season and is 7-2 against the spread.
