Which NBA teams cover playing on no rest?
Several teams will be playing on no rest tonight in the NBA. How have the teams that will be in action tonight fared at the betting window playing on back-to-back nights?
Pacers at Grizzlies, 8:00PM ET
Both of these teams will be playing on back-to-back nights, as the Grizzlies lost 97-88 in Dallas on Friday and the Pacers beat the Nets 104-97 in Indiana. The Pacers are 2-3 against the spread this season playing on no rest, losing by an average margin of 5.6 points. The Grizzlies, however, are an outstanding 6-1 against the spread when playing on no rest, winning by an average margin of 6.9 during those games. Along with the Bucks, who are also 6-1 ATS on no rest, that’s best mark in the NBA. Memphis is a 1-point home favorite tonight versus Indiana.
Bulls at Knicks, 7:30PM ET
Both of these teams will be playing on no rest, as the Bulls lost 147-144 in quadruple overtime to the Pistons on Friday night and the Knicks beat the 76ers 107-97 in Philadelphia. Chicago is 2-0 against the spread playing on no rest, winning by an average margin of 9.0 in those two games. New York, meanwhile, is 3-2 against the spread playing on back-to-back nights but has lost by an average margin of 5.0 over those three games. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Knicks are 1.5-point home underdogs versus the Bulls tonight.
Clippers at Rockets, 8:00PM ET
Los Angeles will be playing on no rest tonight when it visits the Rockets at 8:00PM ET. The Clippers are coming off a 115-107 loss to the Spurs on Friday night, although they did cover as a 7.5-point underdog. Los Angeles is just 2-4 at the betting window in its six games playing on back-to-back nights, but the Clippers have only lost by a margin of 1.3 during those games so they’re keeping contests close. The Rockets are 1-point home favorites over the Clippers tonight.
