Derrick White (left toe fracture) is out indefinitely and his return date is unknown at this point, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. This is a new injury to the same toe that has kept White out for all but one game this season and it will keep him out at least a month. It’s being termed as a non-displaced fracture of the proximal phalanx of his left second toe. Here’s what Gregg Popovich had to say on White’s injury, “This is bad bad luck for him and for our team. He actually sprained the same toe that he injured after he rehabbed and came back. So we’re going to get it looked at tomorrow and we’ll go from there.” Dejounte Murray should see a boost in playing time, as should Patty Mills, who’s averaging 12.3 points and three assists in about 24 minutes a night.

Kawhi Leonard hit just 4-of-21 FGs and 7-of-10 free throws for 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block with two turnovers in a win over the Suns on Sunday. Leonard really struggled in the 112-107 win over Phoenix, opening the door for the Suns to come roaring back despite a 31-point lead in the second quarter. A 19% shooting night from Leonard is an eye-opening irregularity for one of the game’s best scorers. There’s no reason to believe this slump will continue.

Spurs vs. Clippers Betting Prediction

The Spurs have covered the spread in their last five games as a road underdog, is 5-1 against the number in their last six road games and 4-1 against the number in their last five games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous contest. San Antonio has also covered in nine of its last 12 games as an underdog and in seven of its last 10 games following a double-digit loss at home. The Clippers, meanwhile, are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games playing on one day of rest.
