OUR PREDICTION: I faded the Spurs last night as a double-digit home favorite against the Magic and I’m going to do it again tonight. The underdog is 14-4 against the spread in the last 18 meetings between these two teams and the Spurs are winless against the number in their last four games against opponents with a winning percentage below .400. Bettors are going to jump on the Spurs coming off a loss but the spread still feels inflated. San Antonio is 6-2-1 against the spread as a road favorite this year but the Spurs won by an average margin of 8.0 points per game in those nine contests. Dallas, meanwhile, is 1-4 against the spread in its five games as a home dog, losing by an average margin of 8.8 points per contest. It’ll be close, but bet the spread back up to 10 and the Mavs should cover.
