Curry, Warriors in revenge spot vs. Mavs
The Mavericks are the only team that the Warriors have faced this season that they have yet to beat. But Golden State will have its best player when the two teams meet this time around.
Stephen Curry missed the last matchup between these two teams due to a bruised lower left leg. The Mavericks went on to crush the Curry-less Warriors 114-91 in that meeting on December 30 in Dallas. But Golden State has won seven straight over the Mavericks with Curry in the lineup.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Warriors are whopping 16.5-point home favorites versus the Mavericks tonight. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 213.5 points after it was bet down from 215. Golden State is 27-17 against the spread this season and 11-10 ATS at home, while Dallas is 27-19 at the betting window overall and 13-12 ATS on the road.
NBA teams favored by 15.5 or more points are just 7-8 against the spread this season. Teams favored specifically by 16.5 points like the Warriors are tonight are 1-2 ATS.
Tonight’s 10:30PM ET tip-off will be the second game of ESPN’s Wednesday night double-header in the NBA. The Rockets and Spurs will tip-off at 8:00PM ET.
