Phoenix Suns DFS Spin
Suns forward Kevin Durant won’t play against the Bucks on Sunday. He is scheduled to make his Phoenix debut Wednesday, March 1st against Charlotte. The Suns will also be without guard Landry Shamet against the Bucks this weekend. Shamet is dealing with right foot soreness.
If you need a cost-effective point guard on Sunday, the Suns’ Cameron Payne isn’t a bad option. Payne is averaging 12.2 points, 5.1 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.8 made three-pointers per game for Phoenix this year.
For a sleeper option at shooting guard, consider the Suns’ Terrence Ross. After being bought out by the Magic, Ross joined the Suns. He’s seen a lot of game action because the Suns traded multiple wing players to the Nets to acquire Kevin Durant. Ross is averaging 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest in the two games he’s played with his new club.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Spin
Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is doubtful for Sunday’s game with a quad contusion. Antetokounmpo is putting up 31.3 points, 12 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in 32.5 minutes per contest for Milwaukee this season.
With Giannis out, Bucks power forward Bobby Portis will likely see an increase in minutes and offensive opportunities Sunday. Portis missed a month earlier this season with an MCL sprain, but he poured in 18 points in his first game back from injury Friday in Milwaukee’s 128-99 win over Miami. He should offer some help in scoring and rebounding for DFS players Sunday.
Suns vs. Bucks NBA Betting Trends
Milwaukee is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Milwaukee is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win.
Milwaukee is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
Phoenix is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games against the Bucks in Milwaukee.
Suns vs. Bucks NBA Prediction
The Bucks likely won’t have their MVP in Giannis Antetokounmpo available for this game, but they’ve shown they can win at home without him. The Bucks are 4-1 at Fiserv Forum this season without Giannis Antetokounmpo. Phoenix is still a bit thin because of the players they traded in the Kevin Durant deal, and they won’t have the star forward available because Durant isn’t yet healthy enough to play. I think Milwaukee rallies around the core of Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, and Bobby Portis and wins this game by two possessions or more.
