Phoenix Suns DFS Spin

Devin Booker missed a potential game-winner in regulation on Friday, finishing a loss in Detroit with 23 points (8-of-18 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), five 3-pointers, three assists, two steals, one block and five turnovers. Booker somehow played 38 minutes without a single rebound. He’s firmly outside the top-150 in 9-cat leagues at the moment, the consequence of his 4.8 turnovers per game. Even without turnovers, he’s only been a mid-round value with year-on-year dips in scoring (21.5 ppg), rebounds (3.8) and assists (4.6). He came in shooting a career-worst 77.3% from the line, down from 91.9% last season, and the only good news is that he’s healthy and these issues are correctable. This is a good time to float some trade offers for Booker, to gauge whether his fantasy GMs are losing faith due to the slow start.

Indiana Pacers DFS Spin

Victor Oladipo struggled with his shot in Wednesday’s win over the Rockets, going 6-of-20 from the floor and 5-of-8 from the line for 18 points over 36 minutes. The shooting wasn’t great, but Oladipo rounded out his stat line with nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and two turnovers while he was out there. His steals numbers aren’t what they used to be (1.3), but he’s still flirting with top-50 value on the year behind averages of 20.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.9 turnovers per game on 44.1% shooting from the field and 72.7% from the line. Pretty good for a guy with an ADP of 77.

Suns vs. Pacers Betting Prediction

The Suns are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven meetings with the Pacers, who are 6-2 against the number in their last eight games overall. Indiana has also covered in five of its last six games playing on two days of rest, is 5-1 against the number in its last six games versus a team with a winning record and is 10-4-1 at the betting window in its last 15 games as a favorite.
