Suns vs. Thunder Public Betting: Bettors Leaning Towards Phoenix

Our NBA Public Betting Information page indicates that 53% of public bettors are currently backing the Suns when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Durant doubtful to face his former team

Kevin Durant (ankle) is doubtful for Wednesday’s matchup with the Thunder. Durant stuffed the stat sheet in his last game out, but he’ll be forced to miss at least one game with a left ankle sprain. In his absence, expect Royce O’Neale and Ryan Dunn to pick up the slack. The report that Phoenix is entertaining trade offers for Durant makes Wednesday’s absence a bit more intriguing.

SGA leads Thunder to win over Bucks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 34 points (15-of-19 FGs), three rebounds, six assists and two 3-pointers in a 125-96 win over Milwaukee on Monday. SGA dominated early on in this game and scored 21 points in the first quarter. The depleted Bucks scored 22 total points as a team in the opening frame. In his 52-point night last Wednesday, SGA had 21 points in the first, and he could have been in for a similar night if this game was closer. Unfortunately, SGA only played 22 minutes due to the lopsided score. Oklahoma City still have three more games this week, with a matchup with the Suns up next on Wednesday. That should be a closer game, which means that SGA should be able to provide more statistically.

Suns vs. Thunder NBA Prediction:

Take the over. The over is 6-4 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams in Oklahoma City. The Suns are also on a four-game over streak and cashed it in six out of their last 10 games, too. On the other side, the over is 7-2-1 in the Thunder’s last 10 games, cashing in two out of their last three games entering play tonight.
