Shai Gilgeous-Alexander accumulated 32 points (11-of-17 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, and two 3-pointers in Tuesday’s 136-125 loss to the Warriors. Gilgeous-Alexander has now scored 30 points or more in four straight and seven of his last eight appearances, and he hasn’t finished a game with fewer than 25 since before the All-Star break. Over the last two weeks, SGA is ranked second in 9-cat, per-game value, and trails only Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid for the season. Given his Yahoo ADP of 49.3, Gilgeous-Alexander should be viewed as the biggest steal in fantasy basketball this season. Jalen Williams (19/4/2/1 with two 3-pointers), Lu Dort (17/3/2/0/1), and Josh Giddey (15/6/5 with one 3-pointers) were the other Thunder starters in double figures. The loss dropped Oklahoma City into a tie in the loss column with Dallas for the final play-in spot in the West, but the Thunder do hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. That said, their final two games of the regular season are of even greater importance on the heels of Tuesday’s defeat.
Utah Jazz DFS Spin
Kelly Olynyk shot 7-of-10 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 135-133 overtime loss to the Lakers, finishing with 23 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes. With Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler sidelined due to injury, Olynyk was well-positioned for a good night as far as fantasy value is concerned. And that’s what happened, with the 23 points being the most he’s scored in a game since February 15 (28 vs. Memphis). With Utah due to play three more games this week, Olynyk should be fine as a fantasy option…unless the Jazz decide to sit him. Talen Horton-Tucker (23/4/7/2/1) and Ochai Agbaji (22/4/3/0/2 with four 3-pointers) also surpassed the 20-point mark, while Collin Sexton (15/1/3) played 16 minutes off the bench in his first game back from a hamstring injury. The Jazz host Oklahoma City on Thursday.
