Spurs vs. Clippers Prediction
The Clippers are a rare home underdog versus the Spurs tonight at 10:30PM ET. Will they cover?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Clippers are 1.5-point home underdogs versus the Spurs after opening as a 1-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 205 but has been bet down to 204.5.
Manu Ginobili did not travel with the Spurs for their two-game road trip so that he can rest. He won’t play tonight against the Clippers, nor will he be in uniform on Friday night when the Spurs visit the Blazers. Jonathan Simmons and Danny Green will see some extra time with Ginobili at home.
Chris Paul nearly tripled-doubled against the Nuggets on Tuesday, racking up 16 points with 15 assists and eight rebounds. Blake Griffin is out for the next 4-6 weeks after having knee surgery so it’ll be the CP3 show for the next month or so. He only played 26 minutes in the blowout, but was 7-of-14 form the field and 2-of-5 from deep with one steal and just three turnovers.
