Timberwolves vs. Hornets NBA Predictions Against the Spread 11/20/17

Timberwolves vs. Hornets Pick

Are the Minnesota Timberwolves going to bounce back from a loss with a victory tonight at the Charlotte Hornets? Game time is 7PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Hornets are a 1.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 214 points.

Minnesota comes in with a 10-6 overall record and 8-7-1 ATS after a 100-97 home loss to the Pistons. Charlotte is 6-9 overall and 6-8-1 ATS following a 102-87 home victory over the Clippers. The Timberwolves won the meeting on their home floor on Nov. 5 by a count of 112-94. Minnesota has gone 2-1 straight up and ATS in three meetings since the start of last season. The over is 2-1.

The Timberwolves were paced by Jimmy Butler with 26 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and four rebounds in the loss to Detroit. Andrew Wiggins accounted for 24 points, three blocks and two steals. Karl-Anthony Towns added 16 points, nine boards and three assists. Minnesota was outscored 29-17 in the fourth quarter.

Charlotte snapped a six-game losing skid with the win over Los Angeles. Kemba Walker led the way with 26 points and six assists. Jeremy Lamb had 17 points and four assists off the bench. Dwight Howard added 16 points and 16 rebounds. The Hornets outscored the Clippers 29-16 in the fourth quarter.

The under is 5-0 in the last five Minnesota road games. Charlotte is 0-4 ATS in its last four games playing on one day’s rest.

Bet on Timberwolves vs. Hornets

Minnesota will be coming in a little salty after a porous fourth quarter cost it a win at home over Detroit. The T-Wolves are the better team here and even though they are playing on a back-to-back, this is a situation where they can take advantage of a team that ended a six-game losing streak only by defeating a team struggling even worse in LA.
