Timberwolves vs. Magic Public Betting: Bettors Backing Orlando

Our NBA Public Betting Information page indicates that 62% of public bettors are currently backing the Magic when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Edwards accumulates 32 points vs. Pelicans

Anthony Edwards played 38 minutes in Tuesday’s 104-97 win over New Orleans, accumulating 32 points (10-of-21 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and seven 3-pointers. After putting up 29 shots in Monday’s win over the Clippers, Edwards dialed it down on Tuesday, attempting 21. He once again served as Minnesota’s starting point guard, but more of the playmaking responsibilities were handled by Donte DiVincenzo (10/2/7/2 with two 3-pointers) and Mike Conley (8/4/6 with one 3-pointer) in the win over New Orleans. Edwards will continue to be a highly valuable fantasy player; how much he can raise his ceiling will depend on his efficiency as a scorer and playmaker.

Banchero expected to return from injury

According to a report from ESPN’s Shams Charania, Paolo Banchero (return to competition reconditioning) is expected to return from injury at one of the Magic’s home games on Thursday or Friday. Banchero us finally ready to return. The Magic forward has been sidelined by an oblique injury since the end of October and will return to action at home against an Eastern Conference rival. He’ll likely be limited in his first game back after a lengthy layoff, though.

Timberwolves vs. Magic NBA Prediction:

Take Minnesota. The Magic are just 2-5 against the spread in the last seven games overall. The Timberwolves, meanwhile, have lost three out of their last five games but they look to be turning things around. They beat the Clippers by two and the Pelicans by seven. While the Magic have beaten the Timberwolves in seven out of the last 10 meetings, I’m backing Minnesota tonight.

Timberwolves vs. Magic Betting Prediction: Minnesota Timberwolves -4
