Timberwolves vs. Mavericks Public Betting Information

Minnesota Timberwolves Daily Fantasy Spin

Timberwolves shooting guards Joe Ingles (calf) and Daishen Nix (ankle) will both sit out Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks. Terrence Shannon Jr. and Leonard Miller could both see upticks in minutes with Ingles and Nix out of commission.

Minnesota backup center Luka Garza (ankle) will also miss Wednesday’s contest. The Iowa alum is averaging 3.9 points per game this season. PJ Dozier could be a candidate for an increased role with both Ingles and Garza out of the lineup on Wednesday.

Dallas Mavericks Daily Fantasy Spin

Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic is probable to play Wednesday as he deals with a heel injury. Doncic is averaging 28.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game this season.

Dallas guard Jaden Hardy (ankle) is questionable to play against Minnesota on Wednesday. The 22-year-old second-round pick is averaging 6.5 points per game in 14.5 minutes per contest this year.

Mavericks guards Brandon Williams (thumb) and Dante Exum (wrist) have both been ruled out for their team’s Christmas Day showdown with the T’Wolves. Exum averaged 7.8 points per game in 55 regular season appearances for Dallas last season.

Minnesota is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games against Dallas.

Minnesota is 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

Dallas is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Dallas is 9-5-1 ATS when playing an opponent on equal rest this season.

Timberwolves vs. Mavericks NBA Prediction:

I really like this spot for Dallas. The Mavericks have several different statistics that underscore why they have a good chance of covering this game. Since the start of last season, Dallas is 50-31 ATS as a favorite and 35-30 ATS as the home team. What’s more, the Mavericks are 55-34-1 ATS in conference games and 27-23 ATS as a home favorite since the beginning of the 2023 season.

And finally, since the inception of last year’s campaign, Dallas is 63-47-2 ATS in non-division games and 44-36-1 ATS when playing on 1 day of rest. The Mavericks have won their last 2 games by an average of 20 points per contest. I doubt they’ll win by that many on Wednesday, but to cover the number, they won’t have to. I’m laying the points with Dallas at home on Christmas Day.

Timberwolves vs. Mavericks Prediction: DALLAS MAVERICKS -5
