Minnesota Timberwolves DFS Spin
Timberwolves wings Jaylen Nowell and Taurean Prince are both questionable for Sunday’s tilt with the Warriors. Nowell has a knee ailment and Prince is dealing with a personal issue. The two players combine to average 19.4 points per game for Minnesota on the season. Star center Karl-Anthony Towns will remain out for Sunday’s game as well.
Minnesota center Rudy Gobert might be a good option for DFS players Sunday. The 7’1” French national is putting up 13.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game for the Timberwolves this season. He should also help bolster your shooting percentages as he’s making 67.9% of his shot attempts from the field this year.
Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
The Golden State Warriors will also be missing multiple players for Sunday’s game. Star point guard Stephen Curry has a left knee injury and he likely won’t be back until the beginning of March. Small forward Andrew Wiggins is out indefinitely while dealing with a personal matter and there’s no timetable for his return. Warriors power forward Draymond Green missed Golden State’s last game with a knee bruise, and he’s officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s tilt with Minnesota.
With Curry and Wiggins both out, and Draymond Green’s status up in the air, that leaves Golden State shooting guard Klay Thompson as one of the safest DFS options on the Warriors Sunday. Thompson is pouring in 21.9 points per game at age 33 this season. He is second in the NBA in made three-pointers per game with 4.4 and he’s making a sizzling 40.8% of his three-point tries this year. If you need scoring and shooting, you can probably count on Klay Thompson Sunday.

Minnesota is 21-8 ATS in their last 29 Sunday games.
Golden State is 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win.
Golden State is 1-5-2 ATS in their last 8 games following an outright win of more than 10 points.
Timberwolves vs. Warriors NBA Prediction
This isn’t the best version of the Golden State Warriors with Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins out. You could make the case that those are Golden State’s two best players, and the Warriors aren’t the same club without them. Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole are good players, but they shouldn’t be the top two scoring options on a team aiming to win the championship. I think Anthony Edwards and Minnesota get a much-needed win on Sunday as the Warriors aren’t able to score enough to win and cover the spread.
