Raptors stop skid
Toronto is coming off a 123-114 win at Phoenix on Tuesday. That stopped a three game losing and failed cover streak for the Raptors. Toronto is 43-18 on the season, 20-9 on the road, 34-27 against the spread and 32-28-1 with the over.
The Raptors have the top defense in the league, allowing just 106.6 points per game while opponents shoot only 42.9 percent from the field and 33.9 percent from the arc. Offensively, Toronto is averaging 113 points per game while shooting 45.8 percent from the field. Serge Ibaka, Fred VanVleet and Marc Gasol are all questionable for Toronto tonight. Pascal Siakam has been leading the team with 23.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Kyle Lowry is adding 19.4 points, 7.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game.
Curry returns for Golden State
The Warriors have surprisingly won two of their last three after picking up 16-point road wins against the Suns and the Nuggets over the last week. Now, Stephen Curry is making his return to the team for the first time since Oct. 30. The Warriors come into this game 14-48 overall, 7-24 at home, 29-33 against the spread and 35-27 with the under.
Golden State is averaging 106 points per game this season while shooting just 43.7 percent as a team. Defensively, the Warriors are allowing 114.7 points per game while allowing opponents to shoot 47.6 percent against them. Curry is averaging 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game through four games. Andrew Wiggins is adding 20.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest for the Warriors. Draymond Green is questionable to play tonight due to a knee injury.

Prediction:
This is a tough call. This is the first meeting between these two teams this season. Toronto is definitely the better team right now, but the Raptors have a lot of injuries to deal with. While Curry is back, the Warriors weren’t playing very well with him early in the year as is. I wouldn’t expect Golden State to push him too hard in his first game back and the Warriors probably are still sizing up to push for the top pick in the draft. I just can’t trust the Warriors to get themselves on track against a team that is a top playoff contender.
