Portland Trail Blazers DFS Notes
Keon Johnson scored 14 points on 3-of-14 shooting and added seven rebounds, an assist and a steal as Portland fell to Minnesota 124-81. The rookie from Tennessee went 15/2/5/1 in his last game out, and despite his poor shooting Monday, his final numbers were both encouraging and serviceable. There’s a good chance Portland prioritizes player development over winning games down the stretch of a lost season, and Johnson is a guy who should certainly benefit if that’s the case. He’s worth an add in deeper leagues.
Utah Jazz DFS Notes
Donovan Mitchell hit 5-of-19 shots, 2-of-9 3-pointers and 5-of-7 free throws for 17 points, four rebounds, nine assists and a steal in 35 minutes of Monday’s 111-103 loss to the Mavericks. Mitchell’s looked off in two of his last three games but it’s probably just late-season fatigue. He’s due for a big game in the near future and the tanking Blazers might be ripe for the picking on Wednesday.
