Jazz can’t get on track

Defensively, Utah is giving up only 106 points per game while allowing opponents to shoot just 44.2 percent from the floor. Donovan Mitchell is leading the team this season with 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Rudy Gobert is adding 14.4 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest.
T’Wolves return home
Minnesota wrapped up a four-game road trip on Monday with a loss at Phoenix. The T’Wolves lost all four road games and have lost and failed to cover in five straight overall. Minnesota is now 10-13 on the season, 3-7 at home, 9-13-1 against the spread and 14-9 with the over.
The Timberwolves are putting up 114.6 points per game on offense this year while shooting 44.5 percent from the field. NBA Betting Trends
Utah
The Jazz are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven road games against a team with a losing home record and 6-0 ATS in their last six following a double-digit loss at home.
Minnesota
The Timberwolves are 0-5 against the spread in their last five home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games as an underdog.
Prediction:
These two have already met twice this season and the road team has won and covered in both meetings. The Jazz have won and covered in three of their last four against Minnesota overall. The Jazz should be strong on paper, but it just hasn’t clicked for a good part of the season. The same can be said about Minnesota, but for years. The Jazz have been losing as of late, but largely against good teams. Minnesota is not in that mold. The home loss to the Thunder should be a wake-up call for the Jazz. They need to get themselves on track before they fall too far behind. Minnesota is a team that won’t defend, so the Jazz should be able to take advantage of that. Gobert can help neutralize Towns in the paint and lead the Jazz to the cover.
NBA Prediction: Utah Jazz -1.5
