Wade leaves game with injury
NEWARK, NJ (AP) – Heat guard Dwyane Wade left Miami’s game against the New Jersey Nets in the first half because of a bruised right thigh.
Wade left Sunday’s game with 4:10 left in the first quarter with what the team described as a right lateral thigh contusion. He did not return and was not on the bench in the second quarter.
Wade is averaging 25.8 points and has topped 30 points 25 times this season. He had nine points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field, including one 3-pointer.
