Warriors 1/1 favorites to win NBA Title
After receiving a huge effort from Klay Thompson on Tuesday night in Indiana, the Warriors are now 23-0 and a clear favorite to win this season’s NBA title.
Thompson scored 39 points in the Warriors’ 131-123 win over the Pacers last night. He also nailed 10 3-pointers and despite suffering an ankle injury, X-rays came back negative and he said he would be back in a “couple of days.” Steph Curry also had a big night, hitting 11-of-23 shots and three 3-pointers for 29 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists and three steals.
Now that they’re 23-0, the Warriors are also 1/1 favorites to win the 2016 NBA Championship according to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu. The Cavs have the next best odds at 4/1, while the Spurs are 9/2 and the Clippers and Thunder are both 20/1, respectively.
Golden State has also been cashing at the betting window, covering in 16 of its 23 games this season. The Warriors have been a great bet away from home, covering the spread in 10 of their 13 games on the road this season. They’ll go for 24 consecutive wins when they take on the Celtics on Friday night in Boston.
