Best in East, West meet tonight
OAKLAND, CA (TheSpread) – The top team in the East meets the top team in the West today when the Golden State Warriors host the Toronto Raptors at 10:30PM ET.
Golden State is 25-5 on the season, 12-1 at home and 19-11 against the spread. Toronto is 24-8 overall, 10-5 on the road and 19-13 against the spread. The home team has won and covered the spread in five of the last six between these two. They will be meeting for the first time this season.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Warriors are favored at home in this one, as they are getting odds of -5 points against the Raptors. The over/under total for the game has been set at 212.5 points.
Toronto has won eight of its last 10 and is in its fourth game of a west coast road trip where it is 2-1 overall and against the spread. The Raptors have hit the over in four of their last six games. Golden State has won two straight coming into today, but is just 1-3 against the spread in its last four games. The Warriors have hit the over in four of their last six as well.
