Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
Stephen Curry (shoulder) won’t require surgery but is expected to be sidelined approximately one month, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The initial report on Curry suggested a return could come in around three weeks, but Charania’s update suggests he’s likely sitting a bit longer. Charania also indicated that Curry would be re-evaluated in a couple of weeks, at which time more clarity on his recovery timeline could come to light. Look for Jordan Poole to take over in the backcourt alongside Klay Thompson, with Donte DiVincenzo set to mix in more as well. Curry’s updated timetable carries a return date at some point in mid-January.
Philadelphia 76ers DFS Spin
De’Anthony Melton (back) wasn’t included on the injury report for Friday’s game versus the Warriors, Justin Grasso of SI.com reports. Melton should return to the floor and likely the starting five, presumably sending Matisse Thybulle back to the bench. Melton has proven to be a valuable player in fantasy lineups this season, checking in inside the top 60 for per-game and per-36 fantasy production.
