The Warriors are laying 6.5 points as a road favorite on Monday night in L.A. where they’ll take on the Clippers at 10:30 p.m. ET. Is that too many points to lay with Golden State?

Golden State Warriors DFS Notes

Stephen Curry scored 24 points on 7-of-17 shooting in a victory over the lowly Lakers on Saturday, adding five rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one triple and two turnovers across 37 minutes. This was only the fifth time this season that Steph hit just a single triple, as he had multi-trey performances in every other game. The Warriors were struggling a bit coming in with back-to-back losses to the Jazz and Knicks (yikes) before tonight’s victory, and the struggling Lakers kept this one surprisingly close. Still, Golden State will take the win, and they’ll need plenty more of them if they want to try and catch the red-hot Suns, who are 4.5 games above them for first place in the Western Conference standings. Plus, a Grizzlies win tonight means they remain just two games behind the Warriors, and before we know it, this sort of playoff talk will be more commonplace as the season rapidly progresses.

Los Angeles Clippers DFS Notes

Reggie Jackson shot 10-of-21 from the field and 2-of-5 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over the Mavericks, tallying 24 points, five rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block, and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes. Jackson had a tough night from the charity stripe, but there isn’t much reason for concern there. He entered Saturday making 85.5% of his attempts, and the playing time may have had an impact. Jackson played a season-high 40 minutes, with Saturday’s game being the first in which he racked up 35 or more since December 8 (37 vs. Boston). Norman Powell (toe) being sidelined had something to do with that, so expect Jackson’s workload to be a bit more manageable moving forward. As for his fantasy value, efficient shooting is the key. Jackson entered Saturday shooting just 39.5% from the field, the worst that he’s shot since his rookie season (32.1%). If Jackson can turn things around there, he’ll be a far more valuable fantasy option.

Warriors vs. Clippers NBA Betting Prediction

The Warriors have cashed in nine of their last 12 road games against the Clippers, but they’re winless against the spread in their last five games overall, are 1-4 against the number in their last five games playing on one day of rest and are 4-9-2 ATS in their last 15 games coming off a win. On the other side, the Clippers are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games following an ATS win and are 7-3 against the number in their last 10 games playing on one day of rest.
