Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry had been dealing with a left knee injury, but he’s probable to play in Sunday’s tilt with the Lakers. Curry hasn’t taken the floor since February 4th. For the season, Steph Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1 steal, and 4.9 made three-pointers per game. There may be some risk if you use Curry in DFS due to rust, but he’s worth considering anyway.
Golden State forward Andrew Wiggins is dealing with a personal issue and won’t play Sunday for the Warriors. Wiggins is fourth on the team in scoring (17.1 points per game) fourth in rebounding (5 per game), and second in steals (1.2 per game). He hasn’t played since February 13th and there’s no timetable for his return.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
Los Angeles will be missing their star forward LeBron James on Sunday. James is hampered by a right foot injury and he’ll be re-evaluated in three weeks. James is putting up 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game for the Lakers this year.
Newly acquired guard D’Angelo Russell will also miss L.A.’s clash with Golden State Sunday. Russell is dealing with an ankle injury that has kept him out the past four games. Russell is averaging 17.6 points and 6.1 assists per game this season.
If you need cost-effective shooting, consider the Lakers’ Malik Beasley. Since being acquired by the Lakers, Beasley has made multiple three-pointers in 7 out of 8 games for Los Angeles, and he should get a boatload of shot attempts with both LeBron James and D’Angelo Russell out for Sunday’s game.
Warriors vs. Lakers NBA Betting Trends
Golden State is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Golden State is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
Golden State is 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 1 day of rest.
Los Angeles is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 1 day of rest.
Warriors vs. Lakers NBA Prediction
Lakers power forward Anthony Davis is listed as probable for this game as he had been dealing with a foot ailment. He’s going to have his work cut out for him though because two of the Lakers’ top three scorers (LeBron James and D’Angelo Russell) won’t be available.
The Warriors, on the other hand, have been playing much better as of late. They come into this game riding a 5-game winning streak, and they’re getting the best shooter of all time (Stephen Curry) back on Sunday. I don’t see how Los Angeles can score enough to keep pace with Golden State on Sunday, so I’ll lay the points with the Warriors on the road.
