Klay Thompson (rest) has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Nuggets. Thompson, who just recently returned to action after missing games due to a non-COVID illness, has struggled with his shot. Maybe an extra night off will be just what the doctor ordered when it comes to getting Thompson back on track. Jordan Poole is the player who stands to benefit the most from Thompson’s absence as far as fantasy is concerned.

Nikola Jokic went off for 46 points on 16-of-22 shooting (3-of-5 3-pointers) to go with 12 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, and four blocks as the Nuggets beat the Pelicans 138-130 on Sunday night. Jokic did Jokic things on Sunday and at this point, they never cease to amaze. He became the first player to record a 40-point triple-double with four blocks in a game since LeBron James in 2010 against the Nuggets. He missed Friday’s game with an illness, but he was back on the court in this one and it looks like that is surely a thing of the past. Denver will play the Warriors on Monday in a makeup game from December 20th in what will be the first of four remaining games this week for Denver.
