Golden State Warriors DFS Spin
Stephen Curry accounted for 24 points (8-of-22 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), one rebound, three assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers in Tuesday’s 125-113 loss to the Suns, playing 31 minutes. Back in action for the first time since December 14, Curry wasn’t on a minutes restriction Tuesday night. He did appear to be a bit rusty, and the other Warriors have some work to do getting used to having their superstar back on the court. But Curry being able to play 31 minutes with no issues is a good sign moving forward, and the Warriors don’t play again until Friday night in San Antonio. Golden State has been a bad road team this season, but the shorthanded (and struggling) Spurs may be just what the doctor ordered.
San Antonio Spurs DFS Spin
Keldon Johnson made his return on Wednesday and finished with 24 points (6-for-17 FGs, 11-for-12 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one 3-pointer in a loss to Memphis. Johnson has missed their last two games after injuring his hamstring this past Friday. He was back for this game, but he wasn’t able to get his shot going. He had been past his shooting slump that he went through earlier this season, so hopefully this is just a poor night in his first game back. He was able to redeem his scoring average with his free throw shooting, but it was still an otherwise disappointing night for a player that hasn’t played to their ADP of 70.
