Golden State Warriors DFS Notes
Stephen Curry went off for 50 points with 16 triples, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal as Team LeBron defeated Team Durant 163-160 on Sunday night. Curry was absolutely unconscious on Sunday, and he broke his Warriors teammate, Klay Thompson’s record for made threes in an All-Star game. He nearly shattered Anthony Davis’ single-game scoring record of 52 points, but he came up just short. He did take home the All-Star game MVP though, along with the records, so he’ll sleep well at night on Sunday. LeBron James hit the game-winning jumper on a fade-away jumper, which was pretty cool to see in his hometown of Cleveland. James finished with 24 points to go with eight assists, six rebounds, three steals and one block. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points with 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and one block in 27 minutes.
Portland Trail Blazers DFS Notes
Jusuf Nurkic (left foot plantar fasciitis) will be out for at least the next four weeks, the team announced on Wednesday. This is a huge blow for a Blazers team that is currently riding a four-game win streak, and is in control of the final play-in spot in the western conference. Nurkic had been on a tear of late too averaging 17.6 points and 13.3 rebounds with 3.8 assists per game in the month of February. Portland is very thin up front, and will likely play a ton of small ball in his absence. They could also sign Drew Eubanks to a contract for the remainder of the season, and if they do, he should get a good amount of minutes at the five.
Bucks vs. Suns NBA Betting Prediction
The over is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings between these two teams in Portland, is 4-0 in the Warriors’ last four games overall and is 4-0 in their last four games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous contest. On the other side, the over is a perfect 6-0 in the Trail Blazers’ last six games after playing on three or more days of rest and is 4-1 in their last five games following an ATS win.
