The Bucks thrashed the Raptors in Game 3 of the series on Thursday night, with Milwaukee picking up a 104-77 win. Milwaukee now holds a 2-1 lead in the series and the Bucks have covered the spread in four straight meetings with the Raptors. Milwaukee is 44-41 on the season, 24-18 at home and 39-46 against the spread. Toronto is 52-33 overall, 23-19 on the road and 45-39-1 against the spread.
Milwaukee jumped out to a 32-12 lead after the first quarter on Thursday and never had a letdown from there. The Bucks shot an impressive 39-of-74 from the floor, including 12-of-23 from 3-point land. Four different Milwaukee players didn’t miss from the arc, including Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 19 points with eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Khris Middleton had 20 points and seven assists as well. Toronto struggled shooting, going just 24-of-71 from the floor and 6-of-22 from 3-point land. DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, who both average over 20 points, combined for just 21 points.
I don’t think the Raptors will struggle shooting today like they did in Game 3, but I still think the Bucks have Toronto’s number. Milwaukee is proving they have more offensive options than many thought, as six players scored in double figures in Game 3. The Greek Freak isn’t backing down from the spotlight in this series, his first real chance to be on a national showcase. I think he continues to shine and lead the Bucks to another win today.
