Washington Wizards DFS Spin
Wizards center Kristaps Porzingis is having a nice season so far in 2022. The 7’3” Latvian national is second on the team in scoring at 20.2 points per game and leads the Wizards in rebounding with 8.7 per game. Porzingis has scored at least 17 points and grabbed at least 6 rebounds in each of the Wizards’ last 5 games, and he should provide some value in those categories on Sunday.
If you need backcourt scoring and assists, Washington shooting guard Bradley Beal should be able to provide those in spades. Beal leads the Wizards in scoring at 21.6 points per game and leads the team in assists as well with 5.7 per game. Beal has been shooting extremely well in the early part of the season, sinking 52.1% of his shots from the field, and there’s no reason that shouldn’t continue on Sunday.
Memphis Grizzlies DFS Spin
Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. and shooting guard Ziaire Williams will both miss Sunday’s contest with long-term injuries. In Jackson’s absence, second-year power forward Santi Aldama has stepped up. Aldama is fifth on the Grizzlies in scoring at 10.1 points per game and ranks second on the team in rebounding at 6.1 per game. The 6’11” Spaniard has started every game for Memphis thus far and is third on the team in minutes at 28.4 per game. He’d be a nice value play on Sunday.
If you need points from your backcourt, the Grizzlies’ top two scorers Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are both averaging over 24 points per game. The main difference between them is the assist numbers. Morant is averaging 7 assists per game, while Bane is averaging 4.6 assists per game. You’d likely be able to get Desmond Bane for cheaper and he actually provides more rebounds per game than Morant, so I’d recommend him as a cost-effective backcourt option.

Wizards vs. Grizzlies NBA Prediction:
The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the elite teams in the Western Conference, and the numbers back it up. Memphis ranks in the top eight in the NBA in offensive efficiency (1.122), points in the paint per game (55.1), and fast break points per game (16.6). Grizzlies guards Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are great at getting Memphis easy, makeable shots. The Grizzlies are also one of the best offensive and defensive rebounding teams in the NBA. Memphis ranks in the top five in total rebounds per game, rebound rate, offensive rebounds per game and offensive rebounding percentage. The Grizzlies will work hard to get multiple shots on each possession, and that should wear down a team like the Wizards. I like Memphis to win this game comfortably.
