TORONTO (AP) -Los Angeles Clippers forward Tim Thomas left Friday’s game at Toronto because of a sore back.
Thomas, who missed Wednesday’s game at Boston because of back pain, started Friday and played all 12 minutes of the first quarter, but did not come out for the second and was not expected to return.
Thomas finished with three points, shooting 1-for-4. He is averaging 13.2 points and 5.1 rebounds this season.
The Clippers were also without guard Sam Cassell, suspended for one game for a flagrant foul against Rajon Rondo in Wednesday’s loss at Boston.
Los Angeles, which has lost six of eight, is also without injured forward Elton Brand and point guard Shaun Livingston.
