EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Dallas Mavericks forward Jerry Stackhouse missed Sunday’s game against the New Jersey Nets because of a hamstring injury.
Stackhouse returned to the Mavericks’ lineup on Friday after missing seven games, but his right hamstring did not feel good and coach Avery Johnson decided not to risk further injury.
“If the recovery is not good and we feel there is some danger we’ll sit him down and that’s what we are doing,” Johnson said.
