TORONTO (AP) -LeBron James scored 39 points, including 24 in the fourth quarter, to help the Cleveland Cavaliers rally for a 93-90 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
Trailing 70-57 to begin the fourth quarter, James scored on a layup, a free throw and back-to-back 3-pointers in the first 3 minutes. Damon Jones added two 3-pointers before James tied it at 76 with a jump shot at 6:26.
James gave Cleveland its first lead with a 3-pointer from the right wing at 3:59, then drained another 3-pointer on the Cavaliers’ next possession.
Two free throws by Jose Calderon and a layup from Jamario Moon tied it at 84, but James made a layup and Daniel Gibson hit a wide-open 3 from the corner to put Cleveland up by five.
The Cavaliers have won five of six to level their record at 17-17, returning to .500 for the first time since they were 9-9 on Dec. 2.
Chris Bosh led Toronto with 23 points, Anthony Parker had 20 and Calderon had 16 points and 11 assists.
Wizards 108, SuperSonics 86
WASHINGTON (AP) – Caron Butler scored 31 points and Antawn Jamison had 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Wizards.
It was Butler’s third game of 30 or more points, and the second consecutive game the Wizards won by more than 20 – the first time that’s happened since December 2004.
Antonio Daniels had 13 points and 10 assists for Washington.
It was a homecoming for two Sonics starters. Kevin Durant, a Washington native who was the second pick in June’s NBA draft, had 19 points. Jeff Green, a Georgetown product from nearby Cheverly, Md., was just 4-for-13 from the field and finished with eight points.
Spurs 88, Clippers 82
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Tim Duncan had 17 points and 17 rebounds, Tony Parker scored 26 points and San Antonio beat Los Angeles.
Manu Ginobili, back for San Antonio after missing five games with a sprained left index finger, scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter. He had his hand wrapped to protect his injured finger.
Michael Finley made just one of his 10 shots, but had 11 rebounds as the Spurs beat the Clippers for the eighth time in a row and 15th in their last 16 meetings.
Los Angeles made a game of it though, playing solid defense and getting 20 points and 14 rebounds from Chris Kaman, and 17 points and eight boards from rookie Al Thornton. Corey Maggette had 14 points.
Grizzlies 101, Heat 94
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – Pau Gasol had 28 points and 13 rebounds, Mike Miller added 25 points, and Memphis sent Miami to its seventh straight loss.
Memphis outscored Miami 9-2 in the final 2 minutes for its second win in the last three.
Rudy Gay finished with 22 points for Memphis, and Mike Conley scored 11. Miller was 12-of-13 from the free throw line.
Ricky Davis had a season-high 24 points to lead Miami. Dwyane Wade, coming off the bench, finished with 18 points, but was 7-of-20 from the field.
Chris Quinn scored 17 for the Heat, while Udonis Haslem added 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Mavericks 101, Timberwolves 78
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas in scoring for the ninth straight game, scoring 30 points, and the Mavericks handed Minnesota its eighth consecutive loss.
Josh Howard added 22 points and eight rebounds for the Mavericks, who led by as many as 31 points en route to their fourth win in a row and ninth in their last 11.
Al Jefferson had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the lackluster Timberwolves, who delivered an uninspired performance despite not having won a game since Dec. 21 against Indiana.
Bucks 93, Bobcats 89
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – Reserve Charlie Bell scored 27 points and Andrew Bogut added 25, including a short hook shot with 19 seconds left, to lead Milwaukee over Charlotte.
Bogut’s hoop capped Milwaukee’s comeback from an eight-point deficit with 3:51 remaining. Mo Williams scored 17 for the Bucks.
Gerald Wallace scored 25 points for the Bobcats, who have lost three in a row and seven of nine. Jason Richardson added 21 points for Charlotte.
