-Vince Carter, Nets, scored 30 points and New Jersey downed Charlotte 102-96.
-Andrew Bynum, Lakers, dominated inside with 17 points and a career-high 16 rebounds to help Los Angeles roll over Philadelphia 124-93.
-Tyson Chandler and Chris Paul, Hornets. Chandler had 22 points and pulled down 22 rebounds, and Paul added 24 and 13 assists in New Orleans’ 116-104 victory over Golden State.
FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS
Richard Hamilton scored 22 points, Rasheed Wallace added 20 and Detroit extended its winning streak to 11 games with a 101-85 victory over Toronto on Friday. The Pistons have now not lost since an 80-77 defeat in Houston on Dec. 12 and own the longest current run in the NBA. Detroit’s streak is its longest since winning 11 straight in January 2006.
NEW YEAR, SAME KNICKS
New York fell to San Antonio 97-93 on Friday for its sixth straight loss. The Knicks (8-23) fell to 1-12 on the road this season. Eddy Curry scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds but New York’s bench was outscored 36-20.
BOUNCING BACK
Rookie Javaris Crittenton scored a career-high 19 to help the Los Angeles Lakers down Philadelphia 124-93 on Friday. The Lakers were coming off a 110-91 loss to Boston on Sunday that was their worst home defeat of the season. They have now won five of six overall and 11 of 14.
STREAKS
Kevin Garnett had 23 points to lift Boston (28-3) over Memphis 100-96 on Friday for its eighth straight win. … Chris Paul scored 11 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter and added 13 assists to lead New Orleans to their fifth straight road win, 116-104 over Golden State. It’s the Hornets longest road winning streak since also winning five straight in 2003. … Vince Carter scored 30 points to help New Jersey win its season-high fourth straight with a 102-96 victory over Charlotte, the Bobcats’ 11th consecutive road loss. Jason Kidd also had 11 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds for his eighth triple-double of the season to help the Nets win for the sixth time in seven games.

Indiana beat Atlanta 113-91 on Friday to snap a five-game losing streak. It was the Pacers’ largest victory margin at home this season.
STRONG IN DEFEAT
Rashad McCants scored a career-high 34 points in Minnesota’s 118-107 loss to Denver on Friday. … Jason Richardson had 33 points but Charlotte lost to New Jersey 102-96. … Josh Childress tied a career high with 26 points but Atlanta fell to Indiana 113-91 for its third straight loss.
