New Jersey beat Toronto 98-97 on Friday night to win its first-round series 4-2. The Nets, the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference, advance to the second round for the fifth time in six years. New Jersey, which won 10 of 13 games down the stretch of the regular season, head to Cleveland to face LeBron James and the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semifinals starting Sunday.
