HE’S BACK
Dwyane Wade returned to the Heat lineup against Charlotte on Sunday, playing for the first time since suffering the injury on Feb. 21 and missing 23 games. Wade entered with 3:58 left in the first quarter of the Heat’s 111-103 overtime loss to Charlotte.

FREE-FALLIN’
The Lakers lost to Phoenix 115-107 on Sunday. Los Angeles has lost five out of their last seven and fell into seventh place in the West – a half-game behind Nuggets. The teams meet Monday night in Denver.

INJURED
Charlotte rookie forward Adam Morrison missed the Bobcats’ game in Miami on Sunday with a sprained left knee tendon. Morrison, who played in Charlotte’s first 77 games, was hurt Friday in the Bobcats’ 112-102 loss to Indiana. The former Gonzaga star is averaging 11.9 points this season – second-most among NBA rookies.

STRONG IN DEFEAT
Kobe Bryant scored 34 points but the Lakers lost to Phoenix 115-107 on Sunday. … Ben Gordon scored 27 points in Chicago’s 103-89 loss to Toronto.

COMEBACK KIDS
Philadelphia rallied from a 17-point third-quarter deficit Sunday night for a 109-104 overtime victory against the Atlanta Hawks. Willie Green’s 3-pointer with 4:23 left in overtime gave the 76ers their first lead since midway through the first quarter and put Philadelphia ahead for good.

SPEAKING
“We know he can beat us. We want to make them beat us.” – Pistons point guard Chauncey Billups on LeBron James of the Cavaliers, whom the Pistons beat 87-82 Sunday by double-teaming James on the perimeter and forcing him to pass to teammates.
