The featured game of the day has No. 9 Virginia hosting George Washington at 7PM ET. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Virginia is favored at home, as the Cavaliers are getting odds of -13 points against George Washington. The over/under total for the game hasn’t been set. The Cavaliers are 3-0 on the season, 2-0 at home and 1-0 against the spread. George Washington is 2-0 on the season, 1-0 on the road and 1-0 against the spread. These two have no recent meetings. Virginia comes in 12-3-1 against the spread in its last 16 home games.
Another game of note today has No. 3 Duke taking on Temple at 9:30PM ET in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in Brooklyn. Oddsmakers have Duke heavily favored, as the Blue Devils are getting odds of -18 points against the Owls. The over/under total has yet to be set. Michigan State is 1-1 overall, 0-2 against the spread and is playing in its home opener. MSU has won its last three against Loyola dating back to 2000, but Loyola covered the spread in the last meeting in 2012.
