Saturday’s ACC Predictions
Outside of the big Duke-UNC rivalry, the ACC Schedule also features some other intriguing games. Here’s our predictions for Saturday, March 3, 2018.
543 No. 18 Clemson at 544 Syracuse, 2PM ET (ACC Network)
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, Syracuse is the favorite at home in this game, as the Orange are getting odds of -1.5 points against Clemson. Neither team is a real offensive power, as both rely on defense to win games. However, Clemson’s defense hasn’t traveled well, allowing nearly 6 points more per game. Syracuse’s defense is holding opponents to just 60 per game at home and I think that defense will lead the Orange to a win on Saturday. The Tigers are just 3-6 against the spread on the road. Look for the struggles to continue. ACC PREDICTIONS: 544 SYRACUSE -1.5
Bet on ACC for Saturday, March 3, 2018
563 Notre Dame at 564 No. 1 Virginia, 4PM ET (ACC Network)
Virginia comes into this game as a 10-point favorite against the Fighting Irish. The Cavs continue to win, but they aren’t covering as much, dropping three of their last five at the betting window. They are also 0-2-1 ATS in their last three at home. Notre Dame is healing up and has won two straight overall and two straight on the road. The Irish are looking to build some momentum for next week’s ACC Tournament and I think they keep this game interesting. ACC PREDICTIONS: 563 NOTRE DAME +10
Matchup histories for Saturday, March 3, 2018
577 Louisville at 578 N.C. State, 6PM ET (ESPN)
Oddsmakers have N.C. State as a 3-point favorite at home against the Cardinals tonight. The Wolfpack have been shaky at times, but most of those instances are on the road. N.C. State has a 15-3 record at home and it is 8-3 against the spread on its home floor. The Wolfpack are averaging 87.6 points per game at home as well, which will be too much for Louisville to compete with. The Cardinals hold steady right around 70, which means N.C. State should be able to cover tonight. ACC PREDICTIONS: 578 N.C. STATE -3
