Albany vs. Memphis Predictions Against The Spread 12/12/17

Albany vs. Memphis Predictions Against The Spread 12/12/17 Albany vs. Memphis Predictions Against The Spread 12/12/17

Albany vs. Memphis Pick

Can Memphis avoid being upset tonight when the Tigers take on Albany at 9PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Memphis is the slim favorite in this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -1 point against Albany. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 140.5 points. Tonight’s game takes place from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee and will air live on ESPNU.

Memphis is coming off a 90-72 win over Bryant this past weekend to improve to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers have now won three straight but sit at only 2-4 against the spread in 2017. Memphis is putting up 71.6 points per game on offense this year while allowing 69.8 per contest. The Tigers are being led by Jeremiah Martin, who is averaging 17.8 points and 4.1 assists per game. Kyvon Davenport is adding 13.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

Albany is coming off a 74-69 win over Siena this past weekend to improve to 10-1 on the season. The Great Danes have yet to play a lined game this season. Albany is averaging 79.8 points per game on offense this season while allowing 71.7 per contest on defense. Joe Cremo is leading the team with 18.1 points per game while David Nichols is adding 16.7 points per contest.

Bet on Albany vs. Memphis

These two have no recent meetings to consider tonight. Albany certainly is a mystery, as they have no lined games to consider either. However, oddsmakers expect this game to come down to the wire. Memphis has been able to beat up on mostly low-level team this season, losing by 15 to UAB and by 12 to Alabama. Albany doesn’t have a lot of big-name opponents either. I think play at the FedEx Forum may be a little tougher for Albany to deal with. The public betting is backing Memphis slightly and I think the Tigers take care of business tonight.
